What in the frick is wrong with you????

Holy moses smell the roses .....the only blurb about Yao Ming in that whole article is when Smith compares that excitement surrounding him to the excitement that surrounded Sampson when he was drafted.

Where does he trash Yao??? I ASK!!!! WHERE DOES HE TRASH YAO?????

Arrrrgghhh. You people are gonna make me pull my hair out!!!!!

Someone give me a straight jacket and show me the way to my padded cell ..........................   :(

This writer isn't trashing Yao, he's just saying that Sampson was supposed to revolutionize the game, just like how Yao is supposedly going to revolutionize the game now. We'll see in due time.

As for the LeBron thing, yeah it seems kinda strange reading about how he's going to be Michael Jordan when he's been playing against HS competition. But, when Yao was in the draft, they were saying he would be a bust because he only played in a Chinese league, oh well whatever floats their boat, these writers love to hype anything that flashes.

My bad... When I read it the first time I got the impression he was implying Yao Ming's success would be short-lived, just like Ralph Sampson...

 Perhaps if you read the article again(or completely?), you'll see there's nothing negative about Yao there. I thought it was pretty interesting actually. I sense a lockdown of this thread pretty soon.:)

    I cant stand these threads.

What a coincedence that these threads are started by junior members who are paranoid as hell.

Caron Butler is not envious and probably does not hate Yao.
No, not all sportswriters are after Yao and hope he fails.
No, just because people do not mention Yao does not mean they hate him.

I am a Huge Yao fan, but this is getting ridiculous.
