have to dispute the Bucks call though, surely talent has to imply some ability to play defense, they have none and that is why they are sucking this year, how can you win regularly when your game is based on No D and outside shoting.....

"It's incredible to see how he [Mobley] can beat his guy one-on-one every
time. That is a tremendous talent. The combination of Steve and Cuttino, I
think, is wonderful in the backcourt."

I didn't ask who has the most talent and is using it to the fullest...I asked which team under .500 has the best Core of talent...Cassell, Allen, Robinson, Thomas all have allstar type talent.

The Clippers are fun to watch. I watch them every now and then on League pass, and they always give their best effort. Unfortunately, they rarely seem to pull out wins. If they had a better owner, this team would contend for the title in a few years.

I'm going with the Grizz. So far they are the best team that can't win, whatever thats worth.

I think the Warriors are worth a mention.

Last year Hughes & Jamison played NO minutes together. This year, Fortson was tearing things up before being injured and he has played NO minutes with Bobby Sura. It appears they are converting Sura to a PG and he is responding well.

Sura, Hughes, Jamison, Fortson & Dampier are gonna win some games for Dave Cowens (hopefully not against the Rockets). Unfortunately for GS, their in the Western Conference.

Here's a question: if the Grizz have so much talent (and I like their players) why can't they win? I'd say its because they don't play defense, but the numbers place them middle-of-the pack in terms of D (their offense is below average, league-wide). So is it coaching? "Youth" is only an excuse for so long.

If the Griz dont start winning soon they will start to get that old Clips forever losers type aura and will have to get rid of its core anyway.

I'll take the Grizz over the Bucks anyday,The Bucks fan can look forward to many years of underachieving from this squad. The Grizz on the other hand can keep their current core of players together and maybe find a center somewhere can be very good.
