    A buyout means we paid him the pro-rated portion of this yrs salary + a portion of next yrs player option, correct?

    Might take a while for that to be known. I don't remember if terms of these things are typically released to the public (or at least not quickly).

    Clutch, maybe you can use your clout with the organization (threaten to bad mouth them here every day if they don't tell you? :)) to get that info?

    Hopefully very little. In my eyes, Fisher does not deserve potential future monies coming from the Rockets. Hill's contract expires this season anyways. In other words, had we retained Hill till the end of this season instead of trading him, we would have been done with any financial liabilities towards him. I understand there is an additional 1st round pick as an additional benefit, which really turnout to be the only benefit from this trade.
