Hey man, I got OLN and I don't have digital cable?! I used to have digital cable because it had OLN and OLN shows the Giro D'italia and the Tour de France. I've since turned in my digital box and now only have regular cable which doesn't have OLN...or so I thought! Last night channel surfing, I notice I have OLN on ch49! SWEEET! Is this a mistake?! Anyone know?! I hope not!
I know they have switched the channels around recently. 49 used to be PPV and I think the Outdoor Life Network (OLN?) was on the higher digital channels - 115 I think. They also added a 24hr news channel to channel 24 and moved Nickolodeon to 43. The old lineup is here.
Back in the day you could hook the cable up to a tv or vcr without the cable box and you could get the audio on channel 77 and a scrambled picture that you had to use your imagination on.
That reminds me of this time the summer between 7th and 8th grades, and a friend was staying over, and like at 1:00 in the morning, we were flipping, went past the Playboy channel and it was clear as all the others! It was exactly like that episode of Friends, we were too afraid to change it!
