If any player will beat the comeback date, it will be Lowry. I think he will be chomping at the bit to be on the court. Depending on how the team is playing, will determine whether or not anyone will listen to his pleas to come back "early."
Good news, but he shouldn't rush back too soon, Dragic is playing great. Or, maybe he should hurry back before Dragic does to him what he did to Brooks. DD
Heard this AM in a Morey interview that he's on a course of antibiotics so he def won't won't come back until that course is done. Antibiotics are normally at least 10 days and what he got was nasty. At the end of the course, they run more tests to be sure the infection is clear. If not, more antibiotics ...and he's wont be cleared to play while still on antibiotics.
I think Lowry should play it safe and be out for the full 4 weeks. We don't want him to push himself too hard like another individual did and he is a prime shutdown candidate (See Curry, Stephen) If he's out longer than that, then so be it.
Huh? He had a bacterial infection, not an injury. Once it's clear, his biggest problem will be conditioning. It's not like he has some injury we're scared of him aggravating.
What was the keyhole surgery for? Wouldn't that effect his long term prognosis? Please correct me if I am wrong.
