Okay with Kyle Lowry out for at least a couple of weeks and Fisher being bought out.. Who the heck will be our back-up Point guard? A little more than 20 games remaining, we need all the wins we could get sans K-Low. For sure a back up point will be signed soon.
We've fared fine with freaking Flynn doing the job; we could throw about anyone in there and survive. By that token I'd prefer to minimize the ego, as ego isn't the greatest attribute in a third stringer. That said, if Arenas was desperate enough to take the min and agree to be a 3rd string player when Lowry comes back I wouldn't feel too bad about him. But [insert D-league guy] is the less complicated option and that's where I'd turn.
My guess is that McHale will use Lee at the point, with Parsons & possibly Camby running the offense together. Until Martin comes back, Bud can play backup at the 2 with Lee. This will probably open up a couple minutes here and there for Morris, it'll be the best shot he's got at playing non-garbage minutes.
I'd bring-in Iverson & Arenas, start them both, and see how much hair McHale has left by seasons end. At least it'll give me a reason to watch. It can be our long, drawn-out, perfect revenge on that Celtic SOB.
none of these washed up ego maniacs please..Will Conroy been playing well..call him up to fill the void until lowry comes back..
Other. No drama queens/potential cancers. Either a vet who knows his role or a young guy with upside who's just happy to play whenever his number is called.
I'll take Arenas or AI.... lets bring some TALENT! I'm tired of all these other teams geting TMACs and Stackhouses for the min, while we get some no name trying to break into the league...
Wouldn't be a bad deal. He runs an offense pretty well, and plays good D. Just tell him never to shoot.
Abdul-Rauf but that's just me dreaming. Realistically, I like Rafer because the other two want big money and have big ego's. When Lowry's back, they will not settle for the bench.
