I just realized, with Terrence Williams cut, we just got rid of all the 09ers. Wasn't that a goal of the Rockets all season long?

The goal was to find a diamond in the rough.

The funny thing is they already found the 2 best diamonds in that draft in Llull and Budinger.

Much agreed. I just wish Llull would get his ass over here already

How do you know Llull will be a good player? Not trying to argue or anything just want to know what makes you confident he will be good.

we don't know, but he is looking pretty impressive at the moment. Of course things can change, but it is looking positive, especially for a 2nd rounder.

Unless Morey really wants Llull for next and is willing to pay for the high buyout, Llull will come over the season after that when his buyout is much lower.

At least Donuts is coming over!

Yeah, it seems that Morey can only find diamonds in the rough, but always comes out empty from the jewelry store.

    Way to aim high, Morey.

I guess my understanding was that they wanted to get a franchise-changing player acquisition. But, I suppose unwinding some useless acquisitions from the past is good too.

I do not know. Not for sure but he has all of what I want in a prospect. Talent speed, handles, can get to the basket, decent court vision, decent rebounding, good shot, gets to the free throw line, gets back on D. Plus the intangibles, he is a winner! who plays for the team and has ice in his veins!

IMO he has all the skills of Lin but he can shoot better.

While I agree with you, I also ask what "franchise-changing" players were available? Deron Williams? Who else that Morey could even have gotten?

Rather wished at least one of them panned out.

    Jordan Hill had the chance......
Flynn was a nice guy but sucked more than he displayed talent.
