Fisher is washed up but he's still better than either Flynn or Anthony Carter. That being said, Rockets should keep Fisher until the Playoff roster deadline then cut him so he can't play rejoin the Fakers.
Astrorocket, I agree with your points here, but by the time Lowry is back and the playoffs come around (or even right now), Fisher won't be someone who's going to get 30 min a game. Yes, AB absolutely tore Fisher's a$$ up during the 09 playoffs due to Fisher's GLARING defensive deficiencies, but at the time he was getting starter's minutes. Thus, Fisher's inability to play D shouldn't affect us too much, especially since he's mostly likely going to be a situational player. Don't get me wrong, as a fervent Rockets fan, I hate Fisher's guts but I can respect what he's going to bring to our team: a clutch factor and a good leader/locker room guy.

thinking Fisher and Lowry in the backcourt would be tough. also, parsons could learn some things from his vet leadership. that said, i loved to hate the guy when he wore Utah and LA jerseys, in rocket red, i'm sure he'd be great

Now imagine him facing one of the following: Derrick Rose Russell Westbrook Chris Paul Deron Williams Kyrie Irving Monte Ellis Tyreke Evans Tony Parker Dude was legit back in his day but defensively simply cannot keep up with todays guards. Even with his 'clutchness' anytime he is on the court he will be burnt by 99% of all point guards in the league which will draw a help defender or leave them open to score.
Gonna repeat what I said in another thread: Stop mentioning Fisher as if he's worth the paper you leave in the toilet. The dude is trash in every sense of the word. He can suck my balls.
