Being a Colorado resident, and having seen plenty of Camby during his tenure with the Nuggets, I have to say that his main negative is when he tries to be an offensive player and clank the elbow jump shot. Might be hyperbole, but he always seemed to miss.

I have not seen him much since joining the Blazers, but when he was with the Nuggets, and he played smartly (meaning, stuck to defense and rebounding), he was an upgraded version of Dalembert. As a matter of fact, they are very similar players, except Camby does not have as many "duh" moments as Samuel.

This is a really good trade for the Rockets, as the team only lost one semi-rotation player (Hill), and the guy they got in return provides an upgrade at the one thing Hill is good at (rebounding), while being a shot blocking presence as well.

Rockets are a better team after this. Good job Morey!

As long as Bear and Camby can stay healthy, we are actually solid at the center spot. I don't think we have any weakness' at any spot now, and we have the best PG combo in the league. If we could somehow get an all-star at the 2-5 without gutting our team; I think we'd be a top 4 team in the league chasing a another title.

As we are right now; I think we just got a lot better. I think we can make a solid playoff push. The Rockets just need to keep playing as a team and building up that chemistry. Who knows what can happen.

Agreed. I also think we got better without messing with the winning core group and culture that the team has. Camby is also a team first player and has played with winning teams/programs everywhere he's gone.

I'm just kind of a little upset we couldn't get rid of KMart. Hopefully since the trade deadline is over; he gets his mind right and starts playing with confidence and energy. Bring your trade value back up Kevin.

I'm glad we didn't just trade him just for the hell of trading him.

He is a good player but just hasn't seemed like himself lately. His value is probably at a low right now. Might as well keep him and hope he plays well.

Thank God Camby has an expiring contract. The Rockets need to make a huge splash this summer.

There's nothing to make a huge splash with this summer.

Glad they acquired another 1st round pick in this upcoming draft though. You can now try to package three 1's for a much higher pick, or if you think you can use all 3 picks as well as you did for Parsons......use them all.

Harden is an RFA in 2013, I don't see OKC letting go of him in free agency. Maybe they will trade him because of cap problems, but they won't let him walk for nothing.

Since I haven't seen him play in a while, I did some research to see how he has slowed down with age.

    Camby's Drtg this year is a 95:eek::eek::eek:

That is in the company of Kevin Garnett and Dwight Howard.

His TRB% mirrors Dwight this year. He is also passing VERY well for a center.

If anything comes close to Dwight on defense, in short stints, this would be it.

    I'm pumped!!!!

I think this team is going to be better than people think! I'm pretty sure we're going to make the playoffs barring anymore guys missing significant time (knock on wood).

I think so too. We have arguably the best point guard 1-2 in the league. We have one of the best, if not the best shooting guard 1-2 in the league. Parsons is already one of our best players. He is the real deal, and Bud is shooting very well right now. Scola/Patterson is very solid. Camby/Dalembert is now solid. Rebounding and defense are much improved in the frontcourt. Lowry and Martin may come back rejuvenated. Lowry is the closest thing to a star we have. Even without a true superstar, this team is solid.

The last time we tried a 3 for one it did not turn out well. To say the least.

Oh well, making the playoffs is better than another 14th pick.

first round 0-4 will be fun to watch
