I picked "Pictures of You" but my top 5 is: 1) "Pictures of You" 2) "How Beautiful You Are" 3) "Plainsong" 4) "Boys Don't Cry" 5) "Charlotte Sometimes"
Since I only know a few of their songs, I picked "Friday I'm in love". I could never get into this band, they are too weird. Nice sig Manny.
With so many great songs it's hard to choose just one. I voted for facination street by default, but I reserve the right to change my vote at any time.
'Close to Me'. If only I was sure that my head on the door was a dream. Oh ho ho. Although I like 'Lullaby' too.
I just listened to a bunch of their stuff for the first time in years.I'll go with 'The Walk' and 'Let's Go to Bed'
holy sh*t. I'm the only person right now who voted for "Lovesong"?!!! That is the best. song. ever. Next.
"Letter to Elise" gets my vote too. The one true love of my life was named Elise. When she dumped my @ss ~1994, got all depressed and went out driving, and two songs came on the radio sequentialy that I'd never heard before. "Letter to Elise" by the Cure, and that "Breakfast At Tiffany's" song (a movie that we'd recently seen togeter and both really enjoyed). It was one of those moments that are so coincidental that makes you believe in the divine... The Cure, along with Nine Inch Nails, were bands that I used to listen to that I intentionally stopped listening to because, despite the fact that I really enjoyed listening to them, they seemed to always inspire a change in my mood towards depression.
I love all the songs you listed but Catch does something to me that would be inappropriate to mention here. Also catarpillar is great.
