Depends. Would you rather have: 1. Dragic, Martin, Scola, Dalembert, and the Knicks pick; or 2. Gasol, McGee and Turiaf?
eyes will be on him, he got rid of an idiot in Mcgee and a chucker in Nick young and get a solid, morey targeted smart efficient player in Nene. Wall has less excuses as time goes by to start making this competitve
I think you are, which makes me AGAIN wonder why the rest of the NBA CONTINUES to bend over for LA teams! It makes NO sense!!!
Yup, them too but I'm a Rockets fan and don't care about them. Let me break it down for you: Morey wanted to pay maximum money for a guy that is now worth the dumbest player in the league. He made Nene out to be our hero and saviour and now could not even be traded for good talent.
This all started after the most recent Carmelo Anthony debacle in New York, with D'Antoni resigning and so on. Somebody mentioned that the greatest coaching job in recent history was George Karl taking Denver to the Western Conference Finals with Carmelo on the team. Somebody else pointed out that getting good quality play out of J.R. Smith was pretty good coaching too and Coach of the Decade talk began. Drinks were flowing. Then somebody said Karl could coach anybody, he could take Jarvale McGee and make an all-star out of him. At that point Denver's GM ran out of the room . . .
Way to oversimplify the hell out of the situation. You and I both know there's more to it than that. You just want to take unjustified shots at Morey at any possible time you can get.
I'm digging what the Nuggets are doing. Despite all the McGee haters, he just made them a lot better and now they're about to lock Wilson Chandler in long term. Watch out for them!!
Pretty surprised that Hollinger seems to think a lot more of McGee than Nene. Seems like Denver was really smart in getting out of that bad contract fast.
Yeah McGee is a better than Nene right now and if he can average 12pts 9rbs 2.5blks without possessing even a sliver of bbiq than just wait when he starts to develop under a coach like George Karl.
No need to break that dumb statement down for me. 1. Morey was trying to pay Nene about what the Nuggets gave him, not max. 2. Pau was going to be paired with him if the Stern deal would have went thru. 3. You obviously have no idea what-so-ever of what you're talking about. Oh and McGee is young and talented. He's played on an overall bad team with no direction or veteran guidance which is what Nene will bring. And maybe what he'll receive in Denver now.
How I would wish J.R. Smith to still be in Denver. It would be entertaining with him and McGee playing together...
As long as Mo Williams isn't running the point when Young is in the game, should be a great pickup...Mo Williams can't pass for ****... Notice I said "can't pass"... He so used to chucking his passes are horrible...
