I've seen 1/17/12 on IncGamers website a few days ago on D3's release date, but that's an old date and could be outdated. Some of the Blizzcon people were rumored to say that the game would be out "earlier than most people think." (whatever that means). Now that they(Blizzard)'ve continued to make great gears easy to acquire and lower the difficulty of the bosses (by introducing tougher challenges in the optional Heroic modes), I'd say most people who raid do experience all the bosses after the gear catches up and the instances are hit a few times by the patch nerfbat. Compare that to vanilla, when maybe 5% of the raiding guilds cleared Naxx before the release of BC...

Never got the beta invite myself but hopped on a friend's account for a bit. A little disappointed in the console-fication of the user interface, also most of the changes from NDA lift to present seem to be feature reductions (gems, runes, etc). Still, got the CE pre-ordered and impatiently waiting...
Me too. I can live with some of the modifications they have made. Unlike a lot of the hardcore people, I'm okay with how they revamped the skills. One of the things about it will be that I can find a set that plays in a way I enjoy, not like some of the issues in WoW where you can't play certain classes and be successful unless you use specific builds. It pretty much makes everyone playing that class/role cookie cutter builds. I have the Ce preordered too, I expect the date to be sometimes in toward the end of April (I have been thingking around the 24th, but the latest rumor is the 17th).
