I was playing around and mp3'ified Rudy's radio show from this evening. It is the entire thing (traffic and weather updates included), and runs right about an hour. http://homepage.mac.com/echen/FileSharing2.html ~42 MB. I don't plan on keeping it up for all that long. Enjoy!
If this is legal and not costly, it would be great on a weekly basis Seriously, very cool of you. I don;t understand why the bozos who run 610 can't figure out how to get they're stuff online. I'll pay for it, if necessary.
Thanks for the posting. Rudy has the big man O down right it sounds and Hakeem couldn't fit in with Toronto because they didn't work on it much. Also sounds like they aren't bringing in anyone to tutor Yao on big man fundamentals like some were calling for.
hey thanks for the post of the mp3. its great to hear some houston stuff when youre out of town. it would be great if you coul dkeep doing this...
this is yesterday evening edit: anyway, i think this is legal. it's not like making mp3s out of CDs. radio is free anyway.
THANK YOU so much EDC! It's really hard for us expat rockets fans to catch any basketball action here in Paris. Please keep'em coming! rednene
If any of you all are on the Kazaa network, we can start using it to share files like this. I'll put this in my shared folder once I get it - that way if we have a bunch of people with the same file, users can dl it from multiple sources at once.
Thank you very much for posting the mp3. Enjoyed it. I was dying to get access to some Houston local basketball talks but 610 don't do streaming. Your mp3 file really helps ppl like me who live outside of Houston area.
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a Rockets fan in Austin, I have to dig deep to find any news about my team. I really miss all of the sports talk shows. Thanks again, and try to keep 'em coming!
Excellent. Thank you so much!!! I have one suggestion if you continue this every week. Can you try using wma to encode the show instead of mp3? I think wma encoding is 10x smaller than mp3 and the quality is about the same. It'll save you a lot of bandwith and easier for people without broadband access.
Star 610, sports radio in Houston hosts the show. The Rudy T show will cycle between Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 PM central depending on the Rockets game schedule.
OH MA GAWD!!! thank you! i cannot get nothin' about tha rox up here in tha big apple! very cool! occasional updates everyonce in a while would be a lifesaver! also, i dig the idisk, i figured you were an enlightened being
