Liberals are younger than conservatives, and I'm guessing younger people are more likely to block, unfriend, etc than older people, who have more stable and mature relationships.
Do you even understand how statistics and statistical analysis work? Even if the sample as a whole followed normality assumptions, that small cohort is impossible to generalize findings about. Thus findings concentrated on that one subset of the sample are empirically dubious at best.
Funny. Everytime I see a story on the news about a politician opposing a Gay Rights bill/policy/etc. I see a big R next to their names. Or do gays not count? Blacks don't count either? Oh so liberals are not tolerant enough of racist overzealous bigots? Yes. That must be it. Damn us liberals.

This X 100000 I try to be very open minded but for the life of me I cannot understand why conspiracy theories seem to be so pervasive today. Why in the world do people think everything is so government coverup? Occam's Razor folks. Or, to put it another way... Conservatives are older than Liberals, and therefore generally less tech savvy. They also often have poor eyesight and have trouble finding the block, unfriend, and hide buttons. As a result, they prefer to yell loudly at the computer screen out of frustration.
