Since this is college basketball I suppose I should post it here.

Anyway I willing to wager UT will make it to the final 4. I am not a big fan of NCAA ball, but I am willing to cheer on the l'horns. Anyone think UT will win it all this year?

I think we still might be a bit young to take the whole thing...

    But hey, who knows...

UNC is taking it to KU, though.

I like TJ and he could lead his team to the sweet 16 or elite 8, but I don't see them winning it all yet.

So that if we lose OU won't pass us in the BCS... never mind. :D

Texas should be #2 next week since Kansas lost to UNC. I think Texas can go all the way this year. They made it to the sweet 16 with the same players they have now except Freddie Williams. With that year of experience they should know now what it takes to be on top. The only other team that I think could beat Texas to the national championship is Arizona. Texas has a force inside with James Thomas, Brad Buckman, and Deginald Erskin. They have perimeter shooting from Mouton, Ivey, Harris and Boddicker. And last but not least they have a superstar pt. guard in TJ Ford. If they can work well together they would be unstoppable.

Man, UNC has one good game against KU, beats an average Stanford team and now they're top 4?

They're 12 and deservedly so. UT is now number 2. This seems sort of high, but there really isn't a reason why they should not be a top 5 team right now. They've proved me wrong against decent competition, but they are still much better than I thought they would be.

I wouldn't count out OU yet. They have struggled, but I don't think Alabama is really a better team than them. Don't forget about UConn...

does anyone understand how hard it is to make it to the final 4? ya'll horn fans have a long season ahead of you and still don't have a go to scorer. t.j. is great and thomas is very solid but other than that the horns have a lot of role players. and if you are going to have a lot of role players you need a dominant scorer. plus, it's too early to tell who will be there in the end. did ya'll forget about the oregon team that beat texas last year? they are a year better too and have a pg that is just as good as t.j. but what the heck do i know, i'm a UH fan?
