Rose wanted Gasol, right? Deng is still young at 26. Would be a bad trade imo. I don't see them getting past the Heat either way, might as well develop the team steadily.

Agree. They may not be able to take hill yet but I'd take it slow and steady with this team if I were the GM.

Every year, this gets worse and worse. So many people making up crap and so on. Hard to believe what Rumors are real and what are not real. Makes this week hell of stressful.

I wonder if Chicago is trying to get Gasol and flip him to Houston and we send out Lowry and Scola to LA, Lee, Dalembert, Hill, Morris, picks to Chicago for Asik. Not sure if the Salaries will match but would be a great trade if Morey could pull it off IMO.

Stein is usually fine, but this particular story is really bad, in my view: Bulls interested in Gasol. Lakers not interested in Bulls players. So Bulls would have to find another star to trade to Lakers.

Uh, ok. So Bulls would like Pau Gasol, they're just at Square Zero on getting him.

I could not agree anymore with you. Seems like he is just trying to get some hits on his article. As well as try to stir up the pot a little since this deadline has been so slow!!!

LOL I find it funny to see the Lakers go from raping other teams to being abused liek this. Boozer has as much value as Rashard Lewis at this point, probably less since Lewis is a nich guy and Boozer is the dude who lied to the blind owner of the Cavs then backstabbed him to go to the Jazz.

Bulls lack of talent outside of Rose and Deng will hurt them again this year in the playoffs.

If the Bulls believe that a package centered around Carlos Boozer can get them an all-star calibre player they would be delusional.

When I watch Chicago play this year I always felt that they'd be a better team if Taj Gibson were starting in the place of Boozer who really doesn't add much to the team.

Why would they take Lowry when they have Rose?

    Maybe Kevin Martin + Scola?

Remember that the Lakers likely want cap relief as part of a Gasol deal. Otherwise they'll be hammered these next 2 seasons (luxury tax).

Man, I am rooting for the Bulls to pull this one off. I'm sure you're aware that Chicago just STOLE Brandon Marshall, I can see them doing the same for Gasol. They're gonna need a 3rd team to take Boozer. Why not Ramon Sessions? I live in Chi and have been listening to the all the talk today on espnchicago radio. They're all praying for some miacle to want Boozer's worthless behind.
