The Conspiracy Reason was an 18 month suspension of Jordan for gambling by Stern after the investigation into the murder of Jordan's Father was linked to his gambling. At least that was the rumor running around then. Although the original rumor says the suspension was for 2 years for betting NBA games, Stern cut it back to 18 months when faced with the prospect of another NY/Houston Finals possibility. Supposedly, Stern allowed Jordan to retire instead of tarnishing the game at it's height of popularity. At one point, it looked like Jordan would be the Pete Rose of the NBA. That is why so many people were so quick to cry "Conspiracy" with Stern when the Cav's won the lottery and when he nixed the Lakers trade, and will be screaming again when the Hornets win the lottery this summer. They think he has done it before and will do it again.

Everyone knows Micheal was beaten by Shaq. Who the Rockets swept. The Bulls could not beat the Rockets anyways if they could not beat the Magic WITH JORDAN.

    Yea just tell him this

    1995: Jordan was playing
We had swept the bulls some years, and had a winning record against them when we played them. We had a Jordan stopper in Vernon Maxwell and Hakeem has no stopper (literally haha). We matched up too well with them.

I posted a thread about this a couple of weeks ago. And you just tell your Knicks friend that Jordan was playing in 95 and lost to the Magic in the Eastern Conference finals. The same Magic we blew out in the finals.

The only two teams (and by extension their fans) that should be allowed to even discuss the no Jordan argument are the Rockets and the Bulls, all other teams were in the same position as the Rockets and were not able to take advantage. Since this is a Knicks fan, case closed. At least that's my two cents.

Tell him the Bulls' '93 title shouldn't count because Seattle used illegal defense to beat the Rockets.

Jordan was there in '95 and put up better numbers across the board in those playoffs than the following year, including percentages. Screw those guys. Hakeem would have torn them apart.

Since this is an argument form. Lets argue about how idiotic Bill Ingram is. I posted it in the other thread also but first of all, it is not thread worthy; 2nd of all it is from Hoopsworld; 3rd of all its Bill (DipSh!t) Ingram. Does this guy just make **** up or does he have any proof of this? I mean what the hell is he talking about? I didn't know CLee asked for a trade..

    Bill Ingram – 03/13/12 4:35 p.m. EST

The love affair between the Houston Rockets and Kevin Martin continues to be on-again-off-again, and now it’s more off than on. Martin, according to a source close to the Rockets shooting guard, is tired of being pushed out of the rotation to make way for Courtney Lee. He and Lee are quite close, but Martin has had enough of head coach Kevin McHale’s unexplained rotations. Terrence Williams expressed similar frustrations over the weekend in talking with HOOPSWORLD’s Alex Raskin.

The word out of Houston is that they prefer to keep Kevin and may look to move Courtney Lee, whose agent asked for a trade over a month ago. Of course, the New Orleans Hornets have interest in Martin and would likely send Chris Kaman out in a deal. They know they’re losing Kaman anyway.

As for Courtney Lee, the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Indiana Pacers have all been linked to talks about Lee, and any of those could still be in the running.

The bigger picture in Houston – according to Martin’s camp – is that Rockets players are rapidly tiring of McHale, as well as GM Daryl Morey. Either one of both could be on the outs if Houston can’t get this thing turned around in a significant way before the end of the season.

They can say that all they want! It doesn't matter! It's like saying we could have had a dynasty with Yao and Tmac IF they weren't always injured! The fact of the matter is they were hurt and we DIDN'T have a dynasty. Michael wasnt playing so there is no way to say what would have happened if he was playing. Saying that Chi would have beat us for sure is ignorant!

We got the rings, that's all that matters!

Look at the size AND conference in the top teams.

The Bulls would likely have won 2 - 3 titles max, if they played in the West.

Your friend is an idiot. Michael Jordan played in the 1995 playoffs and the Bulls couldn't get past Orlando (who we defeated for the championship). Jordan couldn't beat the team we SWEPT which is a pretty clear indication that we could have handily taken the Bulls too.

Not to mention our offense was the BEST in the entire 1995 playoffs. We were putting up huge numbers. Even scored 140 against Utah, and an avg. of 120 points throughout most of the other games.

THIS. This is what you tell them.

Also, tell them to look at the matchup records. We beat them almost every time. Please correct me if this is wrong. Thanks. End of discussion. Close thread.
