Sane, if Pippen were still here, then Taylor would NOT be in Houston. With Pippen's gargantuan contract, the Rockets would have been capped out for years to come. Taylor would never sign with us under those circumstances. Although I love his game (but hate him personally), we are better off--even from a PROFESSIONAL standpoint--without Scottie. Oh, and I think Shane Battier could be a SF in the draft with exceptional defensive skills. If his overall skill level picks up this year, he could be a star. He is very well-spoken, and the media would love him. Just a thought. ------------------
