Wednesday night Evan Turner scored a career high 26 points in a win over the Celtic. Do you guys think that this was a one time thing, or that we will see this on a consistent basis?
You really are the new guy. But no, he will not average 26 points per game all of a sudden for the rest of the season.
Yeah I know Evan Turner was a highly regarded player though out of college so its kind of nice to see him for once not struggle in a game
I was at this game watching it live. It was interesting. Dude has amazing handles and can get space against anyone. He was completely breaking the defense down. He also gets a lot of rebounds and goes on the break. He doesn't really finish consistently. I do think the Rockets should go after him though.
I also got to see Evan Turner live when the 76ers played the Timberwolves in Minneapolis, the guy can ball he's going to be a good player
I'm getting pretty close to the evan turner band wagon! I would love to get him! Maybe just swap Martin and bud for him??
Not really. Their per 36 minutes stats: Iggy: 12.8 PTS, 5.4 AST, 6.4 RB, .443 FG% Turner: 11.6 PTS, 3.9 AST, 8.5 RB, .408 FG% He has to improve his scoring efficiency but that will come with practice. He's already a very good defender like Iggy.
Some of you are missing why the noob posted this up, in the garm a thread called"insiders something something" has a rumor that Turner might get traded to Houston for Martin.
Turner is a good defender with potential to be great player. I am all for bringing him in. Just remember that Iguodala might be the best defensive wing in the entire league. Evan would still have a ways to go with that in mind.
Seems like he rebounds well for his position. Haven't actually seen him play. Are his handles actually good? Or are we talking another Ariza-type G/F.
