If it does, I hope it happen sooner.

Yao's endurance has been my concern. He is tired. Hou will have more home games this month, hopefully this helps him get more rest, although the schedule is still tight.

Note that in CBA, 2 games a week and much much less travelling.

As a general rule, I worry about the rookie wall. More so for Yao due to the lack of an off season and the issue of fitting in to a new culture. But somehow I think he is having way to much fun learning and doing so well. I expect that it will keep him energized all year. A change is as good as a rest, I hope.

He will hit a wall, but I have a feeling that it wont effect him much. Usually, players lose leg strength and thus cannot use their legs as much during a jumpshot. Therefore, shooting percentages usually go down. With Yao, I have noticed that he barely gets any lift during his shots, so he wont have a problem in that area. Also, his size will still allow him to get a lot of rebounds. So, there may be a period where he will be fatigued, but his game will still be solid and the wins will still be coming.

Wouldn't it be great if he is hitting the rookie wall now? His FG% is down the last couple of games and all, so maybe this is the worst of it :D

Yao Ming has played basketball for the whole year, non-stop, so not really sure if the rookie wall would apply, either. nonetheless, he will struggle at some points, but i look for him to bounce back.
