    hold on dude, whats up with the hate? why can't a player play for the love of the game? why can't he play for his fans? why can't he play for his city?

    t-mac may not be in his best form right now, but even by any standard in the nba, he is much better than some of the dudes thats on a roster right now.

    To me Tracy retired in February of 2009 when he declared he's having micro fracture surgery.

    Side topic:

    It's interesting that for basketball people say players should go to Europe to resurrect their careers. But for soccer they say for the players from Europe to go to the MLS to resurrect their careers (mostly for aging superstars).

    ...and even with such reduced minutes, he's missing games with creaky knee.

    Hang them up. You can have all the love for the game you want, he's simply no longer an NBA level player.
