To add to that, the coaching and offense system must really suck, when a person is doubled teamed and you can't exploit it? SMH

did anyone else wonder why new york let rondo walk the ball up the court during the last 20 seconds? absolutely bonehead move. pressure him with shumpert! knicks should've won that game!
i wonder why NBA coaches dont foul more in the closing seconds of games when up by 3. I see this as a good strategy if your team is the better FT shooting team and you can throw guys out there like Novak. Just seems like there are so many cases where a team ties with a 3 to force OT
Technically fouling when up 3 decreases your chances of winning, but Pringles really failed there, because he had Rondo holding the ball at 60%~ ft shooting and Boston with no timeouts.
not really ... barring injuries there is no way NY is not making the playoffs. Look at 8th seed vs 9th seed in the East
and so what? do you even know how that affects our draft pick? Here is a nice summary by another post
Don't need the summary.... I understand how draft positioning works.... Honestly, I'm a little surprised that you just assumed I don't have a clue, given only the brief statement I made. The Knicks would have essentially climbed even closer to the Celtics positioning in the East with a win on sunday. I would much prefer the Celtics gain some ground on the Knicks and take the tie breaker should they need it. I understand that our initial hopes of choosing in the lottery have vanished and I know its only one draft slot between the teams. However, if I have to choose between the Knicks winning a game, or the Rockets holding on to their current draft positioning, its really a no brainer. It should be a no brainer for any Rockets fan. What's the incentive for wanting the Knicks to win at this point, especially in a game against their closest opponent?

Too late already. The Knicks are 3.5 games ahead of the Bucks. It doesn't look like the Bucks (and the Cavs) have it in them to catch up. Of course, we still want the Knicks record to be as low as possible. But the playoffs field in the East is already set.
Understood. However, I do believe the Knicks could pass Boston. It would have been much closer had the Knicks won on Sunday. A Boston win also means they own the tie breaker. Yea it's only one spot closer for the Rockets, but since I have no real incentive to see the Knicks win, I'll take it any day of the week.
