Kemp is NOT an 'idiot' there. He didn't insinuate anything like what you claimed.

He has having fun pumping up his legend as the "Reign Man" who's overall better than Blake Griffin. He certainly has right to his opinion. Similarly, Dominique doesnt have to put himself below Vince Carter either.

 

I'd say bending is a strong word but he is right that a dunk should be a layup where you actually touch the damn rim or your hand should be over the cylinder vertically. Griffin and McGee's things are handball scores basically. Sure it's nice to see that, but that's not a dunk. More like a handball shot style layup.

Kemp was an insane dunker and Griffin doesn't come close. About 6 or 7 of Kemp's dunks were just head and shoulders above the Perkins/Mozgov dunks. Plus (and that's usually forgotten) Griffin always uses his off hand to foul on the defensive player.

That seemed easy for him. Then they hyped it in the end. It was just ok.
