[Crawfish] Where to buy live Crawfish?

Hit up hong kong, thang hung, or hung dong asian super market. All of them are on veterans memorial dr between 1960 and west rd.

 

What do live crawfish go for down there? $2.90/pound up here.

 

My brother goes to Kemah because they have way better deals (so he says). I'm pretty sure you don't want to take that drive but he usually goes for some entertainment then come home with the crawfish.

I was getting ready to start my own thread on "where to murder live crawfish" but I figured I'd just ask here in order to preserve bandwidth.

 

Can't wait. Friend is throwing a boil down in Houston. And then next month up @ SFA they have the mud balls and mud bugs day.

 

Greens bayou by northborough, they have tons of crawfish. That sheet cray.

Call during the week and tell them how many bags you want to reserve. Only sold by the bag. Each bag 30-40lbs. You have to pick them up Saturday AM.

Wish I could get the same quality in Austin but you just can't.

 

O yeah i remember seeing that place. How much do they charge per pound?

How come man hasn't come up with a way to have it 365 days out of the year.

 

Depends on the market and season. They are as usually as cheap as airline seafood on Richmond or any of the other quality places in town.

 

Bluewater seafood on 1960 sells them as well as Heberts Hotails on Louetta.

 

Pole told me about this place last year and they have absolutely the most amazing, perfect sized, juiciest, cleanest crawfish you can buy!
