Love it. Absolutely love it. Thanks so much for sharing. BTW, how did you come to being a Rockets fan since you're from down under?
Everyone down under were Lakers, Boston, Chicago or Detroit fans. I wasn't a bandwagon type of guy and during my research into Houston, because of my love of Texas, I came across the Rockets. Olajuwon was drafted and in '86 we made the finals the same year my rugby league team won the finals. I loved the twin towers concept and couldn't stand Bird or Jordan because of bandwagoners. Also there was a rap group called Geto Boys from Houston, so I looked into all things from Houston. Since 83-84 when I made the local team and ever since. But truly got into it after '86 when Australia started showing stuff regularly in the Papers. H-TOWN BABY!
UPDATE Today at 8:00am Aussie time (5pm Houston), Tayleesha will have to undergo another major surgery as a minute piece of the tumor that was left behind grew back. We spent yesterday watching the Rockets play Denver, and she laughed when she saw Clutch the bear without his shirt, dancing in the aisles. Please say a prayer, or if that is not your thing, send your best wishes to the worlds biggest little Aussie Rocket fan. Thanks Y'all.
