Thanks for the update. I was wondering when he'd write again.

This player's online journal thing is just ridiculous. This is just a PR thing, and who would write any meaningful journal to public anyway.

Ok, above was my own statement, and I am retracking and apologizing. I wrote the post above without reading his "journal", but after reading it, I found "gosh, this guy is writing as if he's writing to his best friends." Now I like this guy not only for his talent, but for his demeaner. He's way above most NBA players who are nothing but cocky punks. People worship them as heroes because of their talent on the court, but off court, the Iversons, Mosses, Webbers, Wallaces, Kiddses... are just bad people. I have no respect for people with these personalities. Yao has my respect.

While you are reading it, don't forget to suggest to Yao Ming which vedio game to play. ;)

Now that is the kind of stuff i come looking for on Clutchcity, even though i realize it was on the rockets website. The guy is so personal and obviously likeable. For those that don't come to clutchcity, they don't know the stuff we know. They hear delayed reports on the generalities of his game from ESPN and John Salley and assume what they hear is true. We are fortunate to have a guy like this-class and dignity. Yao will by far be one of the top all around 1st picks ever taken when all is said and done. All around includes his off court antics as well. The guy even helped out the marketing department by his last quotes. That's better than a paid commercial.

If you're interested in recommending games to Yao and at the same time want to entice him to ClutchCity.net, I started a thread in the Hangout that I will forward to him. I do think it's better for his or any player's psyche to stay out of Game Action. It gets a little rough in here.
