Easy, That is cute. Don't hate Rudy. Don't know him. He just can't coach! Why can't other coaches in all sports enjoy the Free Pass that Rudy has enjoyed? $4M/yr is a nice piece of change. The Playoffs would be nice. You can only fool some of the people, all of the time. Rudy is the Master! There you go, a compliment from me to Rudy! Can we agree? Playoffs or a new coach.
That's 'Retha Franklin She don't remember The Queen of Soul It's hard times befallen The sole survivors She thinks I'm crazy But I'm just growing old
Yeah I'm Rudy's biggest supporter, go get 'em Rudy! The team is 3rd in the West, you say it's barely over .500, well there's about 10 to 15 teams worse then them in the West. You picked a heck of a time to whine about Rudy after the Rockets just knocked off San Antonio, Seattle on the road and Philadelphia and almost handed New Orleans their first loss at home. Nice timing. And for the record, I'll trust Rudy over you, but if the Rockets do miss the playoffs I'm sure that CD will be on the phone immediately asking for your resume. Me and the other members of the Rudy Fan Club will do everything we can do stop you from getting the job, but with your vast credentials we have our work cut out for us!
Oh and for the record, I will never be impeached as president of the Rudy Fan Club. As long as I have the full "support" of the Clique I will always be the President of the Rudy Fan Club! *wink* *wink*
You got it Sarge! *salute* I completely agree zzhiggins, Rudy is giving a young team a new identity, and having been part of the Rockets for 30 years he knows how to do that, the Rockets have the 3rd best record in the West, and people say he can't coach? Funny that nineteen is ripping Rudy for having a bench and not having a clue what to do with it, for the last 2 to 3 weeks the Rockets have been praised for having a bench that averages 20 ppg, and exploded for 40 points against the Spurs. One of their worst showings was against Philly Saturday when they "only' got 19 points off the bench. Yeah, Rudy is clueless with handling a young team and a deep bench.
If it's the play-offs you are worried about then what is your complaint? We are on course to make the play-offs, we are three games over 500 and we have started what might be the most favorable part of the schedule. Rudy is doing a great job. Will you be happy is he is 5 or 6 games over 500 by the end of December?
Rocks, I don't desire to coach the Rox. I'm just a fan like you. We want the Rox to do well. I'm know fluid basketball when I see it. I have the right to point it out. The NBA had to institute new rules to get away from Rudy's isos. Are they haters or bashers? The Rox fans voted with their feet last year. Are they haters? Or do they want to see entertaining and winning basketball. I'm not jealous of your new Presidency am I? That is your desire, so be it. So can we agree, Rudy should go if he doesn't take his deepest team to the Playoffs? The Rox are 3 games above .500. Rudy can steer this ship. Right? It's not about us, it's about the Rox.
No you're the only one saying Rudy should go because you're complaining Rudy for no logical reason. You want to go to the playoffs, the Rockets have one of the Top 3 records right now. The Rockets have one of the best defenses, they're winning with one of the youngest teams, they have a bench that is among the most productive in the NBA, they're getting away from the ISO you're complaining about, the ball movement has been great and they have dumped the ball into the Ming. I mean god, I don't care if it's an entertaining winning team, just a winning team, but we're getting both, this team is entertaining and winning, and they're beating good teams, they have beaten 3 top teams in the last 2 weeks. Funny how you complain about the NBA making rules to get away from Rudy's ISO and Rudy has adjusted and has a winning team year you're still busting his @ss. I mean give it a rest already, the team is #3 in the West. If it's about the Rockets and not about us, then you should be happy that the Rockets are playing some of the best basketball in the NBA. By the way, the Rudy Fan Club is great, you should join!
I think this explains explains why Rudy will never be a good coach if you based it according to nineteen's standard. He expects a team that went 28-54 the year before to make it DEEP into the playoffs. Anything less is a failure. Based on all the current coaches on the NBA, what's the percentage of these coaches who recieved a number one pick and lead the team deep into the playoffs? Most lottery teams(which we were last year) would be happy to make the playoffs the next year. If you can give me give me 5 coaches (that are available to coach) who has done this, then I can agree that your standards are fair. Otherwise, your just player hattin. Smile
Rocks, Thanks for the invite! I would hate to use your juice to slide in the club. Rudy's wagon is full and I don't want to buy rose-colored shades to join. Before Utah and Spurs lost, the Rox were 5th in the West. 11-8? Bong, my criteria is very simple. Take your deepest team to the Playoffs. The Rox don't have to go deep into the Playoffs. I wish that one of Rudy's fan members would declare that the missing the Playoffs is acceptable. If it is fine I won't post. We want the Rox to win or Rudy keep his $4M hustle going? Rocks and Bong I want the Rox to make the Playoffs. If not, Rudy and CD should be shown the door!
Starters PG: Francis (He plays 40 a game) SG: Mobley (He plays 40 a game) SF: Morris ( Give him 30 a night and he will prove himself worthy) PF: Griffin ( He is the future at this posistion, let ride out his mistakes, and he will show his brilliance on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball) C: Ming (He plays 35+ as long as he stays out of foul trouble) ----------- Yes, It's our future team, we should wait for one or two years.
