I don't get the outrage at the film industry here. there's far more to making a movie than hiring a self obsessed actor to say their memorized lines in front of a camera.

we all see movies, we grow up on them. I simply don't watch this Award show because it's boring. but to act like these people aren't Artists (see what I did there?) is absurd.

thanks for posting this. he appears to be mocking central asian muslims and southern american whites here, while cleverly painting his own people as the unfairly stereotyped victim. that's rich.

Seeing great films, doesn't mean you understand them.

    You can't hear Jimi.

    Films that changed perception? Unlimited...

Here are a few off the top, bruh.

    The Passion of Joan
    The Birth of a Nation
    Guess Who's Coming To Dinner
    Rashomon
    The Exorcist
    Dead Poets Society
    Fight Club
    American Beauty
    Jaws
    The Godfather
    Rocky

Hell, Mel Brooks changed EVERYONE when he came out with Blazing Saddles. EVERYONE...

Damn, how about "Roots"? I can think of 7 thousand movies... Just like I can think of unlimited pieces of music and art that changed world perception and conciousness.

You actually think he wasn't in on it? If anything it was a smart move, he got on probably the only 'exciting' thing that happened that night. I don't know why people watch these award shows...
