When healthy the guy is arguably the second best center in the NBA. Not to mention a lot of his injuries have been freak injuries. And I'm just responding to it. No malice intended. Like I said i think the idea of "renting" Howard for a year is clever albeit perhaps unworkable.
Like Morey has never gotten the best of people in a trade before I agree it somewhat favors the Rockets but I don't think it's entirely unrealistic. I don't think Pekovic is much more valuable than the combination of Scola + Martin + Budinger. Beasley and Randolph are essentially expiring contracts.
I asked the question in the Bogut thread - but more traffic here so... Can an injured player (Bogut, JHill) get traded? I assumed that they could not, since they couldnt pass a physical... clarification...

I could see Morey doing something like this. We all know he want's Gasol. There was also talk about the Rockets potentially trading for Chris Kaman. I could see Morey making a play for Kaman because of this $14million contract coming off the books. Apparently NO wants young expiring contracts and draft picks. Bogut is always injured and hasnt been consistant in 3 seasons. Do people here actually watch more than rocket games? He will be making 13.5 mill while on IR with us within a month
