I mail ordered for Phish tickets and just got informed that I was shut out. Guess I'll have to deal with Ticketbastard Saturday morning.. Anyone else trying to see them this year since they are back after 2 years off?
If they come to Houston, I'll definitely make it out to that. I'm not a big Phish fan, but it'd still be worth it to see one of the best jam-bands of the 90s.
My brother is trying to get tix to the Las Vegas show in Febraury. He claims he has a 30% chance of getting them. I think it's more like 10%. I'd looooove to go to a Phish show, but I can't get away from work. BTW, I got an advance copy of Round Room, Phish's upcoming studio release (don't ask me how -- it's all about the connections ). It's very chill and mellow, but not as good as Billy Breathes (also a mostly chill album, in my eyes). There are NO fast songs on Round Room, and that leaves me kind of bummed. Best song of the whole album, IMO, is "Walls of the Cave." I give the album a B-. Worth a look, but average at best.
Vecsey Sux - I got it (Round Room) in the mail today from Phish dry goods. Haven't listened all the way yet.. So far, I like the songs, but it is really mellow.. I do like that Page (keys) is real prominent! I know one guy that got tickets for one night of Vegas, but everyone else was shut out..
