With the Knicks finally playing to their potential and the Rockets virtually a lock to make the playoffs, Lowry is the one premium asset we have on this team, and our only real chance of trading for a superstar.

And the Lakers want him for Gasol's broke ass? I hope Morey laughed Kupchak out of the room.

he was great last year too, which in essence makes it the norm and not an abberation.. got a feeling you were for AB to start over Lowry, when that laughable debate was going on last season

in a PG driven league, you do not trade a very good PG who hasnt reached his full potential for a declining soft PF/C.. would not be smart
we need a cornerstone big man badly but you dont rob peter to pay pau sorta speak

We need a big. But I will refuse this trade also. Pau belongs somewhere else if not LA.

give us bynum and pick, otherwise no talk

    Houston gets:
    Bynum + first round pick

    LA gets
    Lowry + Scola/Dalembert + TWill(if they want him)

That would be a good deal for us. Hill barely plays, Flynn doesn't play at all. It's virtually Scola + Dragic for Gasol which is worth it IMO.

Not a chance we give them Lowry.

Lowry + Gasol can be a contender.

Lowry or Gasol alone are not.

They are delusional if they think that they can get any of those players. Kevin Love is the best pf in the game and 10 years younger than Gasol. It's laughable. A Lowry deal might work, but the rockets wouldn't do that deal because it doesn't make sense.

I agree Dragic would be better on the Lakers. Kobe's ball hogging wouldn't work with Lowry. Lowry would be rendered useless, he'd be standing around watching Kobe shoot jumpers.

How about trade Lowry for Lin and Gasol?
