I don't remember a stretch where they were blowing out teams left and right. Even good teams they are blowing out. Lebron is having arguably the greatest statistical season in the history of the NBA. People hate on the guy, but other than the whole choking part he doesn't have a weakness in his game. He has the best scoring pct in the post among all nba players who have 75 post ups. He is unselfish. He has really cut down on the long shots. He is rebounding well. He plays great defense, just ask drose. He might still choke, but he has all the tools to carry the heat to the finals.
LeChoke could have been a God in New York and own New York but instead he went to Miami. So now Lin is reaping what could have been his.
A lot of the hype around Lin has to do with the fact that he came out of nowhere. I'm pretty sure NY fans would have quickly come to expect Lebron's nightly excellence and turned on him if he wasn't delivering championships.
