When did he sprain it? I cannot wait to see what Greg Smith can bring.

    Press release:

Rockets forward Jordan Hill left today’s practice after injuring his knee. Hill was evaluated by Rockets orthopedic surgeon Walter Lowe and it was determined that he sustained a sprain of the medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his right knee. He is expected to be out at least the next two weeks.

Two weeks that McHale doesn't have to give Hill the pre-game light-a-fire-under-his-a$$ pep talk. Hill is not great but better than he shows.

In any case, wouldn't wish an injury on anyone. No fun being sidelined.

The black Jeremy Lin has been called up from the D-League. 20-10 in his first game?

    Greg Smith to the rescue.

Thank God. So sick of Hill's inconsistency.

So he's out a minimum of two weeks (March 3rd) and likely longer. The trade deadline is March 15th.

As far as a positive for the Rockets' future, has anyone found one yet from the lockout being lifted?

He'd play Parsons at center before Thabeet. There is no way he gets meaningful playing time this season unless we're down to 7 guys.

Lowry's trade value has gone up. Parsons has become a quality asset for us.

Smith is not an aggressive rebounder. I think he brings more score in the paint skills than any big on the roster though.

Has it? May have seemed that way after the first 10-15 games... but if you compare his numbers to last season, there's not really an increase.

Parsons has been a nice surprise. Asset? Maybe like Chase is an asset but I don't know. That's not the kind of real strides I want to see the franchise make.

19.5 PER compared to 16.5. Pretty big increase. Also, even if he only sustained what he did last season, that would be increased value because it proves he's legit.

let's see what DM will do aside from recalling G. Smith..bad move of releasing Adrien..just want to move those "assets" to a serviceable player..remove the stagnant roster space eater..

what makes you think jordan hill would have had any value or consideration at the trade deadline? Hes been dead weight for sometime now that the rest of the league can see he hasn't improved his consistency.
