Our bench has been scoring well and Martin in some of games, and Kyle.
Other than that, McHales no system is not going to feature either one either.
Denver is Top 5 high scoring teams and Nene is not scoring, that tells you all. And FYI NeNe was not coming, if you need proof, well there are articles, all saying he was going to stay in Denver.
Some analysts say Houston would be a good fit, it was just a suggestion, NeNe himself never said Houston was No. 1 option or No.2.

At best No.3 and that is a stretch. Say all you want about Gasol but that was actually closer to happening.

I doubt he would have actually signed in Houston, it just seems too much like everyone else, use Houston for leverage to get a better deal where they really want to play.

They have been a lottery team since the Garnett trade and even before that. Six, or seven years of high lottery picks *should* net a team, any team, talent.

thats why he waited until the Rockets trade for Gasol was dead before signing with Denver.

Far too much Parsons in this game. He should have been benched for the 2nd quarter and Bud should have been playing.

occur to anybody that seeing as Adelman was our coach for the last few years he knows all our players strengths and weaknesses very well, and can instruct his players accordingly?

Nene would've signed with the Rockets if we had Gasol + the cap space. That's pretty obvious by the fact that we heard numerous reports he was waiting for the Gasol trade to go through.

Of course now he claims he always wanted to sign with Denver... any player would say that no matter what their prior plans were.

I read the articles myself somehow I still think he was all about Denver, and we were No. 3 after say New Jersey, I guess was it.

Why don't you use your logic? A player is not an average NBA rookie. He has his family to ask for advice, and Houston has not been a place for all kind of players. Even with Gasol, that is not even a superstar.

I can understand if it was Howard, even then he would still ask his family first, then regroup with his agent.
Did major free agents line up to play with Gasol in Memphis???? I can't recall.

Please stop with NeNe. People are just desperate. It's history any way.

I'm just glad we don't have to play them again!

It's a terrible match up for us, doesn't necessarily mean they are better than us! We will en up with a better record then them so the tiebreaker doesn't matter.

The next 2 games are huge though! Gotta beat Utah and the Memphis game should be considered a must win

McHale would've known what to do to Love & Pekkerwood if he was still playing, that's why he's so upset. He comes from an era where people did everything to win, even play dirty but most importantly: hard! They left it all out there on the court, body up and made sure nobody was coming easy into the paint.

This loss cannot be blamed on him, just look how pissed he is in the press conference, throwing away that sheet like some1 mentioned earlier :)
McHale tried everything and although I would've liked to see Martin & Bud, it's the defense that killed us so cannot really blame him.

This loss was on the players, they just rolled over like a bunch of pantsies. Lowry got beat so many times off the dribble, I am starting to wonder if his defense is always this bad and help defense or Hayes last year covered many of his mistakes / shortcomings.

Ever since RA came, we became less of a hard working and hustling team mainly because of personell. He lost Deke, Rafer, Artest, Landry, Battier and in the end Hayes. Scola used to be a hustler but I don't really see it from him this year.

We better start to trade for some more defensive minded players to fit McHale style of coaching or he can never show what he can do. He's got a roster full of pushovers and it's probably better if we lose big during this homestand (I predicted we only beat Raptors).

Martin was still not the problem tonight, he actually came to play. It was the other 4 starters though Parsons did try. Dalembert is starting to become incredibly frustrating, could not even slow down Pekovic once. Scola is what he is, on the decline and Lowry is very inconsistent as of late.

This is going to be a long season if nothing changes so let's hope Morey at least tries to get Kaman so Dally can come off the bench and has to work for playing time. I don't mind giving up Scola and a young buck for him.

If you don't have great defense anyway you might as well try to outscore the other team. He needs to understand this team won't win anymore games trying to be something they aren't.

That behind the back pass by Rubio was just sick...

    Our frontline blows.

Only way we can win is if Lowry puts up a triple double.

    At least Parsons looked good.

Well I'm not surprised since Parsons was guarding Love.

We need to get Greg Smith up here pronto.

I think PP's lack of rebounding probably hasn't been mentioned enough since he's done everything else...He isn't rebounding more than last year, despite playing 5 more mins a game.
