I know Eddie has had major problems this year, but all in all I think he's on track in his development. There's just a major epidemic of sopphomore slump going on in the league right now.

    1. Last year's superookies on the Grizz (Gasol and Battier) are being totally outplayed by this year's (Gooden and Giricek)

    2. The baby-Bulls, Chandler and Curry (who, even though coming from high school are the same age as EG, check it out) are playing 10-12 mins a game and are non-factors on a terrible team.

    3. Kwame Brown is back to being the 11th man in D.C.

    4. J-Rich (GSW) and Rich-J (NJN) started strong but has had major ups and downs.

    5. The "steals" Parker and Tinsley are struggling as well.

The only guy who has made a major stride is Vlado Radmanovich, but he's not setting the league on fire either...

EG is doing fine. It's early in the season and even Rudy said they are struggling to find the right rotations. They are in a new defensive and offensive scheme. They are fitting in new players and learning each other's tendencies. All is well so far. They easily could be 15-4!

I really believe that Griff can turn out to be one of the best players out of that draft, I just hope he starts to come around. He could really help this team.

Eddie did well for himeself yesterday. He shot 3 for 5 FG and got a 3pointer while being at it. Add in the expecvted 2 blocks in just 16 minutes, and that's not a bad contribution. Can't help that Kenny Thomas seems to have played an all-around game with 7 rebounds and 6 assists, sounds like Francis numbers, to go along with 14 points! Add that Griffin and Thomas played well that day, adds to MoT not playing at all. Depth at work here I guess.
Anyway, I hope Eddie keeps improving, not only for the Rockets but for my Fantasy Team:D

I'd be intresting in finding out more about EG's discontent. But lets be honest he has stunk it up on the offensive end this year. It with the abundance of talent this team has. EG has to know that if you're not producing then you're gonna sit down.

I would rather want to hear that he's upset about his playing time and he's working on getting better so he could stand out abobe the rest

I love Ediie Griffin's defense, but at the same time you gotta have him be able to produce,...I hate to admit it, but Kenny is showing he can produce if the choice is to have someone score when the neccesity requires so,...It is a fact we haven't shot the ball so particularly well, but we have got to see what is the best for us at each position,...It is a difficult job for Rudy, but that's his job!

So far Yao Ming is a given at center and francis, and Cuttino at point, ...while it's debatable on who best fills the forward positions... I do think we need some stability there though.

Wait a minute! I'd like to know if Eddie actually is "discontented" or if this is a National Enquirer-style rumor that has the same about of truth as a story about space aliens kidnapping Elvis.

When E.G. comes out and says to the public, "Man, I am miffed about my playing time," then I will believe there is "discontent."

The Rockets don't need false rumors just so some of the less responsible board members (trolls?) can stir the pot!

even if eddie is complaining about minutes he has no grounds to complain. he isn't playing like he deserves them. thats the reason why the rockets have trouble getting their rotation set because ALL of their power fowards are sucking and not playing consistent. kenny thomas was complaining about PT but once he finally started playing better he got more of it...thats how this works...the NBA is not a FFPS (Fun Fair Play Soccer) league.

more players should have the attitude of MoT...he knows he ain't playing great and he is working to get back so he can challenge for more minutes.

I just visited this ********************* site. It looks like a lesser Hoopsworld where Rocketguy hangs out.

Come on, before any more "even if" posts get started, let's get the facts -- not rumors or "I just need something to generate visits to my website so let's stir up some muck!"

I know I'm picky, but before I believe one iota of this I want the story from a credible news source.
