He represents the Asian community by being the first Asian American in the NBA. No one is saying he's frickin' Dalai Lama. And why would Chinese people defending a Chinese guy in the NBA offend you in any way?
Well he is sort of a representative for Asian-Americans in terms of breaking stereotypes. Like how Barack Obama is a figure representing the hopes of all types of black people, not just Kenyans.
There's World War 2 to consider You know, China invaded Japan and murdered...oh wait, it was the other way around. Yea, why doesn't Kojirou like China again?
sounds like jealousy? by the way, there's no need to "defend" him, more like rooting for him, which is a natural thing to do when someone overcome great odds. Maybe you should go watch Rudy.
tim legler just agreed with me. awful d by calderon. has to realize that he has to quit backing off and that lin can only shoot the 3 once the clock gets to a certain point.
I've watched all the games since the Boston game. Did you not just see Calderon light him up? Then watch them switch him to Barbosa and him just drive to the basket on him. To compare him to Lowry defensively is a clear indication that you are overrating the kid. Lowry is one of the best defensive pgs in the league and in a whole different category than Lin. If you take marketing out of the equation the Knicks would send us Lin for Lowry in a second. Lowry is a better 3 pt shooter, a much better defender which is their biggest weakness, and takes better care of the basketball. The Knicks would be a 6th man away from being a real contender if they could get Lowry for Lin.
Hey he was with the Nuggets ...... Right? Or was it Golden State? It was a team with a lot of yellow on their jersey....
Lin's cool and all, but the "Linsanity" nickname is terrible. Vince Carter's corpse in Dallas is 360 between the legs dunking in his grave.
