You want an a another potential lottery pick, then you'll have to include one of your valuable assets... with that said I think this trade would be fair for both parties involved... Goran Dragic, 2012 NY pick and 2012 Minn 2nd rd pick for Kemba Walker
Stupid suggestion. We would take in 2 PFs and give up none. Good thing you are a writer and not a GM.
Play nice...he was. On topic. Just from a position standpoint, we have pfs for days. A one for two is not very healthy for us.
Warick's contract kills the deal. All three of these Clubs are not trying to add long term salary except for may the Bobcats if Jordan is serious about making a run but I think he's tanking to get Harrison Barnes. I would take Agustin off your hands for Williams and a second rounder though. I think Dragic is a goner in the offseason.
At this point, the rockets are full at the 4 position and with this trade they would add more depth. My question would be, is this necessary? While, I don't mind losing TWill, we aren't getting much in return but maybe that's your point. This would work better if we add another team and get a center...I hear Chris Kaman is available.
WHY does it deserve its own thread? Just because the OP is a writer for a different team? Rules should be same for everyone. Should go in Random Trade thread.
I'm sorry what? We trade our backup 5 for two 4's who will ultimately ride the bench behind Scola and Patterson. To add to that, you expect us to take on Warrick's contract, while he likely doesn't contribute to the team. I'm sorry I just don't see the logic in this at all. It would be better to just let Terrence expire instead of paying longterm money for a replacement bench warmer. We have Motiejunas coming next year and Marcus Morris can play some 4. Therefore, I don't really know where White would fit in future plans either. Who is our backup 5 now? Jordan has played well for us this month.
A case could be made that Hill is better than Warrick (ignoring contacts), considering the lack of quality backup centers in the league. No way we do this.
