Again, please ignore the screenname; Yao is awesome. Anyway, I am at school in California so I have trouble following the Rockets. Why is Nachbar being left out of the game? The box scores show me that he doesn't even get garbage minutes. I know Rudy has a tendency to leave rookies on the bench, but this guy is a top 15 pick. Either he should be playing, or we made a big mistake. I hope it's the former. Can anyone enlighten me?

Yeah, and Moochie decides to jack up two shots at the end of the game rather than pass the ball to Boki.

What a sh*t. I was yelling at him so loud to pass the ball to Boki that my two-year old started yelling 'Boki! Boki!'.

Could you believe when Boki finally had the ball in the lane and passed the ball off? That's impressively unselfish for a shooter that's probably been dying to get on the court.

It was brief, but I thought he looked OK on D.

I can't wait when Boki has playing time.

You can just tell the guy has game.

He's long, has soft hands, and can pass
    the ball.

    All good signs.

Oh, and the guy can shoot and dunk too!

I'm still trying to figure out not only how Terrance "Offense is a foreign word" Morris not only got 8 shots, but how he managed to miss 7 of them.

LOL that's because Terence "ESPN Doesn't know who I am" Morris played 4 minutes just like Boki and hit 1 for 1.

Moochie hit 1 for 8. Maybe you need help reading the box scores Haven :D

Eeek. More like my eyes are going blurry from reading too much Civil Procedure.

The funny thing is, if Morris could just hit a 3, I think he could be useful. Of course, that's true of a lot of guys on the Rockets bench right now :(. Funny... on the 90's Rockets, the only guys who couldn't hit 3's were OT and Hakeem. Now, only 3 players have consistent 3 point shots :(.

Keep hoping that Boki will step in and fill that void...

That's what he hit last night... He has a good three point shot. I think he should see more time soon. he has looked good and was on fire in preseason. What a deep team. :D

I think Rudy knows that our weak spot is small forward. Rice is getting old and seems to be getting chubbier as well too. I don't forsee him getting resigned when his contract is over. Sooner or later, Boki will step up...because the team will need him to step up.

Sadly, Morris hasn't had a 3 point shot since his jr year of college (when I was very high on him). This year, he's shooting .16% from 3-pt land. Of course, that means practically nothing, since he's taken few shots.

But last year he shot a mere .19% over the course of a season.

Not sure what's the matter with him. I don't understand how one can shoot... then magically, between collegiate year... the shot disappears, never to be heard from again. It's not just the greater distance in the pros, since he couldn't shoot well his senior year at Maryland.

    It confuses me.

Terence Morris' Houston Rockets career is in trouble if he continues to have less playing time than Jaquin Hawkins.

Morris will be the starter at SF next year. This year, he's an energy/defense guy off the bench. Some nights he'll surprise us, some nights he'll stink it up. But after another offseason, he'll be great for this team. Can't wait for him to improve his shot, and Griffin to get stronger. Then we'll have the ultimate F's to compliment our team. Tall, lean, defensive, can block shots, and grab rebounds in bunches. Can you imagine a zone Defense with Ming standing tall, and Griffin and T-Mo's as the F's? Cat and Francis' quickness in there too?

    Here' what I foresee:

    Ming/Cato
    Griffin
    T-Mo/Boki
Mobley/Acquired combo guard (hopefully Jamal Crawford)
    Francis/(Same combo guard, maybe Tito?)

We need a 4 to play minimal minutes. Can't be KT cause he whines, can't be MoT cause he makes too much to play small minutes. Ideally, we sign TyHill to a minimum contract and become contenders.
