I agree !! I mean what have Hakeem or Rudy ever done for the team? These 2 must go, Rudy clearly does not know how to coach, and Hakeem can't play anymore, even if he is healthy. This really doesn't sound like Heypartner, the perpetual rational optimist. I miss the old HeyPee . I think Rudy is a decent coach, probably in the top 10. Hakeem... is probably untradeable at this point... and will probably help more than hurt. *shrug* Nothing to do there. Crisco: Rudy's loyalty probably is responsible for Mobes resigning... Hakeem is old, out of shape, etc., but he's an icon of the game, and he's given us so much, and who knows - he might show up again in his last season, so give the man a chance - and the respect he's earned. What the heck's yer problem with Rudy? The man is one of the best coaches in the league. Can't coach team ball? I saw more ball movement last season than I've seen this whole decade from a Rockets team. Rudy stays. ------------------

Why is everyone dissing Hakeem. He is the best that ever played in Houston, period. He will have a great year and everyone will want him to play a couple of more years. It's sad to see this what have you done for me lately attitude. Hakeem is untouchable and deservingly so, so stop b*tchin and enjoy Dream for the last time. I guess our hopes of Olympic Gold are dashed. Rudy is the coach. Of course HP knows more than the selection committee. Rudy is in the top 10% of active coaches IMHO. He is not like Riley and Jackson that goes from one championship team to another without having to do anything. Jackson quit on Chicago because he wouldn't know how to start a team over. I HATE D-I-T for Hakeem just some of you. But don't let that fool you of on Hakeem's ball skill. If I were Rudy who is getting paid millions a year, I would try to be a man and tell Dream: "Set picks, Block shots, and Shoot open mid range jumpers only, don't pretend to be MJ". Then, he will suddenly shine again. Thus Rockets will be on the winning side again. As long as Rudy treat coaching like politics, he will keep letting Hakeem's stuborness to dominate the team, once he comes back.
