    I know there are at least 6-7 Jeremy Lin threads at the top of the Houston Rockets section of the the forum, but I just wanted to say how fortunate we
    are to have a guy like Kyle on our team.


    “All those guys that were chosen as All-Stars, they’re deserving of it,” Lowry told NBCSports.com. “I’m happy for all of the guys who made the team, and to be mentioned myself in that category, it’s an honor for that alone. If people say I got snubbed, then thank you. I appreciate it. But as long as my team’s winning, going along and winning games that we’re supposed to win, hey — I’m happy.”

    Allstar game and weekend is worthless like all other sports Allstar shenanigans. Lowry not making is a damn good thing since it gives him five days off.

    Lowry is a damn fine point guard and we are lucky to have him.

    If you found a $5 dollar bill and a (possibly) counterfeit $20 bill, no matter what you'd still be happy you found that $5.

    Kyle being an all star would bring more attention to Houston and we could attract other players because they would want to play with an all star point guard.

    :confused: I doubt that. Lots of players know Lowry is a good player and making the Allstar roster will not help them see that. Also for a while Lowry was playing like one of the two best PGs in the game but he hit a wall and that is what hurt him. Making the playoffs will not help nor will Lowry making an allstar roster. If they wanted to come then they would say so and by they I mean Howard

    I agree he hit a wall a week ago when his shooting was suspect but he's picked it up the last few games. It'd be nice to see him shoot well and distribute the ball like he's capable of doing. At least he's developing into a very high caliber point guard.

    Great post. Good to see Lowry being very humble, hopefully he knows he still has got a lot of improvement to make before being an all star, he needs to improve on his scoring, as a team leader and PG, sometimes you need to score those decisive points which he has done a few times this season late in games, if he continues that trend, he is set for an all star slot next year here in Houston.
