I make no apologies for enjoying the play of a guy who wasn't drafted, but persevered, stay dedicated, and is making the most of the opportunity presented to him. The ultimate underdog story. Go root with the rest of the front runners please.
You guys make me laugh.... Lin making an all star team would be like Soy Sauce replacing ketchup as americas favorite dip for french fries... He wont even start next year
You do realize its popularity contest right? The only way he gets in is if he gets voted in a starter. I'm sure all this will die out by next year but f he remains a quality PG for NY, its not impossible that he gets voted in. He has the NY vote, the Asian vote, and anyone else who likes an underdog story.
as far as china is concerned im sure it's all the same. ABC (american born chinese). asians dont hav many stars in sports so every fleeting moment counts big. esp since he's in NYC that's a huge deal. as far as ALL-STAR... let's take it one game at a time and enjoy the ride for now.
well I dunno about that.. check this article out.. He seems to be getting popular in Asia. http://www.washingtonpost.com/sport...-tv-schedule/2012/02/09/gIQAImL41Q_story.html With Lin’s emergence, Knicks games getting added on Asian TV schedule Text Size PrintE-mailReprintsBy Associated Press, Updated: Thursday, February 9, 12:49 PM NEW YORK — Jeremy Lin is making the Knicks must-see TV in Asia. The NBA says Thursday its Asian TV partners have added Knicks games to their broadcast schedules following the emergence of Lin, the first American-born NBA player of Chinese or Taiwanese descent. inShare..Sina in China will show Friday’s game against the Lakers, while stations in Taiwan will televise Knicks games this month against Toronto, Sacramento, New Orleans, New Jersey and Atlanta. ESPN Philippines also added the Feb. 17 Hornets game in New York. Lin, an undrafted guard from Harvard, has led the Knicks to three straight wins, scoring more than 20 points in each game. Ironically, his performances are missed by many in New York. A dispute between Time Warner Cable and MSG Network is keeping the Knicks off that system.
Raymond Felton put up great numbers last year too in NY but didn't get voted into the allstar game. Nobody cares.

"Sina in China" is actually not a TV station, rather it's just a website. Actually, I think Chinese TV will likely avoid Lin, not because of anything he does, but because of this (which is actually not offensive to most Chinese, unlike for example the "green" flag, but still it's officially banned.) On the Internet, censorship is much looser and netizens typically have better world-views/are less brainwashed, and even without Sina a ton of Chinese people were using sportlemon/frontrowsports anyway, only difference is the language which again isn't a big deal since most Chinese commentators are worthless.
where glen rice and change his be to 30pnt 5 min left there going to a lot of ass kissing . I thought he couldnt shoot outside.
