Someone should shoot you in the knee.

The rockets are so up and down. Most of our guys are just surroundings to a center piece. We need a table in order to put our good china down. We are poised to make a deal, but when have we not?

The youth is really starting to show in this team, most fans are just slow to digest of the direction of this team. This is a city that wins. Quitters have never been part of the organization. All in all, the future is being built, but when's it taking off?

    On another note;

Im surprised in Mchales coaching philosophy and the guy is out there looking mafioso with the goatee

We have won three in a row on the road against pretty good teams.

We have won 13 of 17

    4th in the DEEP west

Agreed that we are not true contenders to date, but we are a trade away from being right in the mix.

If we continue to play the way we are right now, our young players will be worth more and trading for a top ten talent becomes much more likely. Even if we trade the farm for an elite player, we will be deep enough to still have a farm. We are sitting pretty for the future.

Not only that, it would be a pick close to the 20th pick if we make the playoffs given the weak eastern conference. Not a big deal.

Also, our cap situation looks very good, and we have a ton of expiring contracts.

the expiring contracts of the 09ers are also going to free up around 12 million in cap space. In which we would have enough space for 2 max contracts plus

    Strength of Schedule.

We'll even out by end of the season to either just miss out on playoffs or scrape in 8th.

Does anyone want to talk about the Rockets?

They are doing pretty good right now.

Totally agree. It's truly a great time to be a Rockets fan. (Except for the mindless, blind-trust "In Morey We Trust" crap. Don't agree with that.)

Should be able to make conference finals if we don't face OKC or LAC.

"Scola would start on 25 teams?"

So you're saying he's the 6th best power forward in the league?

Ehh, might wanna backtrack on that one a bit, dude.

AGREED... he is definatly slumping this year...

and is it me(or just watching the last couple games) that it seems the bench should be starting and the starting 5 should be the bench? they have such great chemistry and play much better defense...

addition by subtraction... trade martin and scola to make room for (whoever we get) c.lee and patterson... start bud again...
