    Lowry was a backup that needed starting minutes. Dragic was a quality backup that can thrive with minutes. If Dragic goes this offseason, who are the Rockets looking at next to pluck from another team?

    I don't understand why in the hell we would trade a proven backup

    he could be a starter on many other teams, but here in the GARM his name is being thrown around on the trade block...one star thread!

    That's why. His trade value is trending upward, and other teams are likely to offer him more money this summer than the Rockets would.

    What they really need is a shooting guard like Kevin Martin. They don't really have a good shooting guard.

    But who's CP3's backup? Dragic is more of a PG than Mo. I think Dragic could also help them defensibly.

    why wouldn't he stay for 3-5 mil a year?

    we are getting rid of Hasheem, Hill, TWill, Flynn - that's enough money to cover the expense..
