It's just seems so futile to complain anymore. It's like everyone acknowledges, but what's the point anymore? Nothing is going to be done with the crooked ass calls in favor OKC, Stern's golden child team. The Portland debacle, tonight, ugh. This should be Monta's night but it gets snatched away from him just like Lamarcus's epic gamewinning block.
He pointedly said the refs missed several calls and then mentioned exactly which ones he had in mind. leebigez, I don't know what's happened to Ibaka's jumpers and FT%. He has plenty of time to snap out of it though. IMO, he needs to avoid Euroball during the summer, stay here instead and work on specific aspects of his game with other NBA players. Won't happen this year with the Olympics. Euroball is such a contrast to the Thunders offense it has to be hard adjusting back and forth.
Woke up annoyed, read more annoying posts. Seems futile? Well, that doesn't appear to stop you. I didn't watch the 2nd half of this game (west coast - I love my sleep more than basketball.) But, the Portland debacle was just a bad call in a game of bad calls, a game that Portland had 10 less fouls called against them and Durant shot 1 free throw on 33 field goal attempts. Hardly a game full of crooked calls favoring the Thunder. And since people keep repeating the same fallacy, the Thunder would have had the ball with 6 seconds in the Portland game. So, stop with the 'game winning block'. But, I didn't watch tonight. I hope Stern kept his precious OKC market from losing. It would be awesome if Presti had a redphone to call him whenever he needed a stop. I'm excited just thinking about the prospect. I hope you are right!
