Hey guys. Long time no post. How's the board been all this time?

I haven't read too many posts recently so forgive me if I say things that have already been said.

I have to say that it feels pretty good to still have a winning record at this point. It's a nice change of pace for these guys to not have to be digging out of a whole that they either fell into or dug for themselves.

To me, it appears that Francis is on a whole other level this year. His points are down from the beginning of the season but that's ok. He doesn't need to be a scoring machine. Leave that to AI and McGrady. Steve seems a lot more mature this year. It also appears that winning and the playoffs are the only important thing to him. He is becoming an excellent leader.

Yao Ming is the bomb. I'm loving the fact that all of the Nation's media is all over his jock. Just imagine after he's been in the league for a couple of seasons. The improvement he's making on a daily basis is simply awesome. I look forward to the playoff race.

I can't believe some people still want to get rid of Mobley. As Brian Fellows would say, "That's just crazy! I'm Brian Fellows!" He too seems to have matured a bit.

KT, Rice, Taylor, Griffin, Norris and Cato have all looked excellent at times. They've all also looked pretty bad at times. I think it's too soon to call any of them a bust. It's too soon to be calling for any trades. At least that's my opinion. The exception, of course, is if any of them start to become a cancer. But only Rudy will really know if it gets to that point. Flame me if you like but I will continue to trust Rudy and his decisions.

Hawkins has been a pleasant surprise. I'm sure this has been said countless times here but I haven't said it here yet. He seems like a Elie-type of player in a few ways. Always good to have a defensive-minded player.

Overall, the team seems to be playing more like a team. I'm not really seeing too much dribbling until there is only 5 seconds left on the clock. Well, not too much of it anyway.

Like I said, I'm sure I've added nothing new here but it's good to be posting again. With as many people as we have here at the BBS, it's hard to add an original thought or idea.

So hello again to those of you who know me and hello for the first time to those who don't know me.

I'll be gone for a week (Hawaii) so I'll check your responses when I get back. Take it easy, guys (and gals).

in the midst of all the r****ded trade ideas, people seem to forget that we have the 3rd best record in the west behind Dallas and Sacramento.

I have at times been kinda rough on Moochie and KT. But I actually told a friend of mine that I'm kinda glad we don't have much in the way of draft picks next year and that the team only needs time to gel.
As it looks so far they are already starting to gel and develop the right kinds of attitudes.
    Go Rox!

    P.S. Have fun in Hawaii!

How about we stockpile 2nd round picks?

LOL, we usually do well on them. Let's trade KT for 2 2nd round picks.

Then we have 2 from that, 2 from Chicago, and 2 of our own in the next 3 years. Trade our 2 first rounders for 4 second rounders too.

Something like 8 second rounders in 3 years. That would be a nice strategy for people looking for depth. Someone like the Lakers.

I'd like to trade KT to the Lakers just to piss the rest of the league off. LOL. They'd easily come in at 3rd or 4th place with KT as their PF.
