So.. just because Lin had a great game we should have kept him? Does that mean that Norris Cole is a badass? Cole had 1 great game and haven't even heard that kids name sense. Lin will probably be more productive in the Knicks offense but he isn't a game changer. It is funny how some people want to point the finger at Morey about everything. Lin would have never played here and rotted on the bench. Flynn is an expiring contract and has ions more trade value than Lin. What is the point of this thread?

I thought the answered had been stated many times: Contract.

I still think guaranteed contract has created a lot of evil for the game.

Is Lin better than Lowry? No.

Is he better than Dragic? Not yet. Maybe some day, maybe never.

What exactly are we crying about?

Lin may not be better than Lowry any time soon or ever, but he is definitely on a par with Dragic at the moment. Of course there are a lot to cry about cos' we let valuable talents on cheap contract getting out of our hands.

Lin has had two great games in a row now. Off the bench, cold. Have you watched him play? He's like Dragic but a better passer and defender.

And you're also nuts if you don't think Cole is the real deal. The Heat struck gold with that pick. Great young piece for the backcourt. I bet he makes Chalmers expendable.

It was better for Lin to go to NY, he will get a chance to play there.

This maybe true with Marcus Morris as well. He may have to go somewhere else to get his chance.

At any rate, Good for Lin.

He plays more in control when compared to dragic. He is also a better passer. If you can make steve novak and jarred jefferies look like nba players you deserve some props.

I hope you are not referring to Walter "Clyde" Frazier. The nyk announcing team is one of the best in the nba. I would trade clyde for clyde anyday.

Exactly Rockets screwed up in not picking Lin plain and simple but after the trade deadline we will all look at this team and it will be more evident at that time how big of a f up this was. Morris may need to leave this team. Too much is put into numbers, stats, stupid contracts because of stupid trades to father certain players in and what they think a guys iq is... just play, pick and trade for the best players you can get. Anything else is BS!

This. You have to understand how many Chinafans we have now.

I do find it hilarious that CFs spend so much time debating who our 12th man will be. First Williams now this.

It's pretty simple. They had to sign Dalembert and someone had to go. Flynn has a contract we need for trades (salary filler). PG isn't exactly a need for the team. Probably our strongest position. I don't see why it's hard to understand?

Best thing to happen to him was get cut by us. He'd take Flynns spot and warm the bench.
