    I think this is a real close call to be honest. I am amazed at Rubios steal rate. His just got a gift on defence I think. Haven't seen much of Irving, but he doesn't seem to have the same effect on defence that Rubio does I think based on some of the stats I've seen (please note thats team stats). Rubio has a HUGE effect on the team defence when he checks in but that might be because A/ His pretty good at reading how a play will play out and B/ all his mates on the Timberwolves are crap at D, Kevin Love included.

    But I'd give it to Irving at this point, some of the stats his putting up are RIDICULOUSLY efficient for a guy who has noone to pass to. If he ups his assist rate its his award to lose
