What I found hysterical was Feigan putting up the piece and throwing Solomon under the bus.

Solomon really is worthless, even as an op-ed guy. At least Pancakes tries to put up the appearance of a sports reporter. Feigan's fine.

Lance Z and Steph Stradley should be given Solomon and McClain's positions.

Fair enough. I hadn't actually clicked on the line :) so didn't realize it went on and on like that.

still, he had to be a little repetitive. mchale's was clearly not being forthright with his answers. he was toting a good company, boss line, but if he doesn't realize there's a negative stigma with the D-League then he hasn't been paying attention

I understand, the Dleague is a joke, there is no team oriented ball, hardly any defense it is up and down scrimmage type of basketball.

It is not like Minor league baseball at all...players are only trying to draw attention to themselves, and look out for numero uno over everything else.

I could live with a persistent writer being a annoying for asking a lot of questions. But asking a lot of questions that all share the same answer? Get that guy out of my locker room. It's almost as if Solomon wanted McHale to change his mind.

If the guy didn't have a negative perception of the d-league, then write the story about that! Instead, Solomon wanted to write about, "McHale loses cool, like Lowry on the court: Rift City." That would make sense, but it was clearly painted by Solomon.

Plus, what is McHale or ANY member of an NBA organization supposed to say about the d-league? That it's the place where scrubs get a last-chance evaluation to see if they have a chance to crack a 10 man rotation?

That would demoralize Morris and whoever else gets sent down there. Of course, players would think of it as the minor league, they want to be in the NBA. What Solomon didn't mention was that Patterson now sees it as a blessing.

It's just stupid journalism. He is truly an embarrassment. Ok, I think I'm off my soap box.

McHale: "But I did it. They didn't ask me if I was happy. Red Auerbach wasn't worried if you were happy. Red Auerbach was worried if you were winning."

Morris is learning the system down there and transition to play the 3.

My guess is his defense isn't good enough for the 3 right now so he needs some time.

It is easy to shut up and play when you got Larry Bird drawing all the attention away and letting you go one on one.

They also need to be in shape to do that. That's what the D League is for? Are we serious? He will join the rotation once he gets up to speed. Holy smokes are you kidding me???

of course its the truth. Do you honestly think dropping 30 to 40 points per game is great for development. sure he's getting some pt, but at what level. D1 college basketball is better than the d-league.

Thats another lottery pick from the Rockets wasting away at the d-league. The Rockets are horrible at player development

How exactly did he throw solomon under the bus- he just reported what happened.

I don't usually agree with solomon, but since fran left, he's the only one with balls to question moves by the rockets. The other writers Feigan included usually walk the company except when its something really obvious

You are ****ing horrible at mental development. Your parents must have sent you down to the d-league and gave all your playing time to Jeff ****ing Adrien. I mean, holy smokes, are you serious?

Chase is barely playing and Scola is at a different position.

The DLeague is PERFECT for Marcus to work on his perimeter defense, because it is ALL dribble drive...

Is that the part of his defense that suffers? Serious question... I don't know. Everybody seems to get beat on the perimeter in the NBA. Seems like good man defense is as much about team defense as anything.
