Context like Heslip getting hacked on a three pointer and Drew getting a tech for arguing the non-call making it a 5-pt swing?
As the ESPN announcers explained (you can see the replay on ESPN3), the hand is part of the ball. If English got ball first - and it looked like he did - there's allowed to be contact with the hand on the way down. Moreover, Pierre Jackson got three freebies a few minutes earlier in the half when he jumped sideways into Matt Pressey and it still looked iffy as to whether there was any contact. Two close calls, and you could argue both were wrong, if you wanted. One went Baylor's way, the other didn't. Drew has to remain composed.
Two in a row. Drew get's them ALL the way to number 3, and the pressure brings them crashing down to earth yet again. But it was the officiating, right? Face it. Baylor can't stand the spotlight. EVER. I've been telling you this for how long now??? I'll check back from time to time. -Hank
"Pressure" and spotlight had nothing to do with it. They played two superior teams and lost. Nobody thought they would go undefeated so falling back from #3 was inevitable. But then, you really have nothing to add and are just trolling to get a reaction from Baylor fans here.
It was good running into you. I'm regretting not getting that GS Udoh jersey for $10  It was pretty sweet. We ended up going to Austin for the night so it was a fun trip. I love how campus looks now.
J'Covan Brown completely lost his mind taking that last 3. Very poor judgment. But UT wouldn't have been close without him.
He's XIrocket. I'm assuming the XI means he's 11. Just like I used to be 95. We need a Baylor game get together!
