    Reasons:

    1. He is 6'9", 253 lbs, could be a big body that Rockets need as an enforcer.

    2. he has not played that much and his value is unknown, it is possible to get him on the cheap.

    3. Blazer's GM seems to be good at picking drafts with young talent. Example: J. O'neal, Bonzi Wells (even though he is a head case)

    4. Randolph played quite well in pre-season. He is #14 on the efficiency list. http://www.nba.com/statistics/default_48_minute_leaders/LeagueLeadersEFF8Query.html

    5. Again, Blazer will blow up soon. It is possible to get him on the cheap. If he can be traded on the cheap, it does not cost much even if he fails in the end!!

I agree "lets get him on the cheap"

Call Rudy up and tell him the idea, maybe he will agree

Why would the Blazers give up one of their few young and promising frontcourt players? The last time they did that they were burned by the Pacers in swapping Jermaine O'Neal for Dale Davis. I don't see Randolph going anywhere.

Well, they did that because their front office is a bunch of r****ded people who play golf, not basketball. They're still r****ded...I mean look: they gave us Kelvin Cato for Scottie Pippen, didn't they? Maybe their dumb asses would do it...

None of our PF is good. If anyone of them is good, he should stand out now! EG supposed is the future, but he can not hold his starting position. KT is a goner by the end of the season.

Apparently, EG is a slow learner, he might be good in 2 or 3 years, but more importantly he does not have a wide body and he is not an enforcer-type PF. He likes to stand outside the 3-point line. You think he will start to get inside later in his career? More likely no. Once EG's rookie contract is up, what are you going to do? Are you satisfied that he becomes another Horry? plus EG can not dribble. If you can not dribble, it is better you can shoot or rebound. Well...

Look at the good PF in the league, most of them have a wide body. Garnett is an anomaly.

Like Boki, no one has actually seen what he can do during NBA games. I suppose those who have seen him at practices have a better idea.

BTW -- I like what I have seen of him, tho his rep is as a prototype Po'land Jailblazer.
